Happy Hollow Park & Zoo Welcomes Capybara Social Media Star from Sacramento Zoo
Happy Hollow Park & Zoo has welcomed Donatello, a one-year-old male capybara and former social media star from the Sacramento Zoo, to join Wendy, their three-year-old resident capybara. This companionship aligns with the Capybara Species Survival Plan, promoting the species' well-being and genetic health. Visitors can now enjoy watching the pair in their habitat, with an expanded enclosure planned to enhance their space and guest viewing experiences.
Teen Paint Night
Teens aged 13 to 17 are invited to join Teen Paint Night on Friday, Feb. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy this animal art class is for teens only! Food, mock-tails, music & instruction while you sketch & paint a portrait of the star animal of the night. This month's theme is Cookie Luv’n. No euphemisms here... We are painting cookies!
